Mines road construction leads to lane closure

On-going construction of the FM 1472 overpass at Interstate 35 will require the following lane closure due to modifications to the raised median along FM 1472 within the project limits.

• June 2, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. - Inner lane closure of FM 1472 northbound-access loop.

Detour in effect: All FM 1472 northbound traffic by the access loop will merge to the outer lane starting at the railroad crossing to just north of Manadas Creek.

The traveling public is asked to slow down, drive with extreme caution and observe all traffic safety signs, road markings and channelization devices in and around the work area.
