Updated: Water line installation to interrupt traffic on Bartlett

Tri-dal, a private contractor hired by the City of Laredo, will temporarily cause traffic inconvenience along Bartlett Avenue from Stewart Street to Price Street on Thursday in order to install a 24-inch water line. Work is scheduled from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This water line will connect from the new elevated storage tank that is located at the intersection of Barlett Ave. and Price St. to an existing 14-inch water line on Bartlett Avenue. Water services will not be interrupted.

Work is anticipated to take approximately 11 hours for completion. Progress updates will be made available by the Utilities Department.

Motorists and pedestrians traveling through the area are urged to adhere to all posted traffic control signs and devices to provide safety to everyone.
